In March of 1986, Bob Menendez and his wife Beverly bought Sunset 44, which already had been operating for 25 years, from his friend Pete Nicolaisen Jr., son of the original owner. Last night we celebrated my husband's 80th birthday at Sunset 44 and they went out of their way to accommodate us! Our food was delicious and our server, Vicki, did an outstanding job of taking care of our group! We've been going there for years and it seems it just gets better!! Thank you for a wonderful time!!
