I booked an expensive room late in The afternoon. Ten minutes after having made payment, I was notified by work of change in schedule and would no longer be needing the room. The transgender girl on the desk would not re-fund me the full amount. They kept half the amount saying that because I had booked the room they are unlikely to be able to rebook it this late in the afternoon, this was after ten minutes. Cost me 100+ dollars for nothing, money grabbing poor customer service.

The Sunseeker Motor Inn is located a couple of minutes drive from the heart of Batemans Bay. It's an older establishment, built probably in the late 1970s. There is plenty of guest parking available on the site. The room I stayed in was basic but clean and the bathroom was not recently renovated. There was no window in the bathroom and the ageing electric fan/vent did not work, but it was clean and there were ample towels, a small hair/blow dryer and all the toiletries one could need.
