The absolute worst hospital I've ever been in. I was transferred from Southern Hills for more tests, it was so urgent that I get there, that I sat in the hallway for 8 hours. I fell down in the bathroom but no one seemed to be concerned, the girls up front judged every person that came in including me, I could hear them say that they bet I would get the drugs i'm probably there for. No food, no water, no doctor, no nurse. NOTHING!! Even the doctor told me he couldn't just give me pain medicine just because I want it. What... read more

I truly dislike the service that was provided towards me. The nurse was very rude and snappy, she completely dismissed me in reference towards my concerns of possible food poisoning. When I suggested she view what I consumed, she immediately shunned me by saying I don't want to see your e.g, item, food. I was also diagnosed with a viral cold...I am a 48 year old with four kids and three grand kids and would realize if I had a cold or not. Can you say misdiagnosed?? I consumed a defective food product, that had a chemic... read more

I was taken to sunrise hospital after ordering a single drink from a waiter which came directly from the bartender at a restaurant in vegas. I was completely incoherent and unresponsive within 20 minutes of ingesting the drink. My friend told the paramedics I was drugged yet when I arrived at the hospital, I was treated like just another person who had too much fun and alcohol on the strip. No blood tests were taken to check for drugs such as GHB in my system (I found out later that this same establishment has had similar ca... read more

My father worked at Sunrise hospital for 15 years. One night he went to the ER there because he was feeling suicidal. They released him a few hours later due to full capacity...Possibly because they didn't take him - their buddy - seriously. The next morning my younger brothers found him dead in his bedroom from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. This was neglect at a very high level. Worse part about it is he loved his job. Too bad. Shame on you guys.

My 81 year old brother has dementia and is in Sunrise until a bed opens up at the Behavioral Health Center. He is tethered to his bed, and only gets about when someone comes to help toilet him. I am very concerned about bedsores or other complications of him being unable to move about . He begs me to come get him out, but he is under Legal 2000 order and no one can help him. He was living at Montara Independent Living home and wants to return. It is heartbreaking to have him ask me to please get him out as he feels he ... read more

Don't go to sunrise hospital. Worst hospital ever. A year ago i was sick and hadn't eaten because my throat was swollen shut and by looking at my throat they told me I had strep. At that point I couldn't even talk and they prescribed me amoxicillin and my mom told them that I couldn't take it orally and they told me to just mix it with applesauce and to go back if I couldn't. I ended up going home and 5 days later went to a different hospital where they did something. Then sunrise had the nerve to send me a $400 bill for th... read more

Sunrise Hospital is absolutely disgusting! My son was in the NICU for 3 months after being airlifted from Mike O’Callaghan hospital located on Nellis Air Force Base. My son was under the care of Doctor Lipsky. At first everything was great until I advised her that my son’s medical information was NOT to be released to Nellis Air Force Base since my son’s twin brother lost his life there due to medical malpractice. Lipsky became very difficult to work with after that. She never wanted to hear my concerns as the mother. She ev... read more
