I am so deeply grateful for Karni. She was truly amazing—nurturing, calm, gentle, and incredibly experienced. Throughout my care she was always supportive and intentional with both her time and her presence. Karni delivered my second baby girl in 2020 and there are no words to describe how amazing she & her team were. From the intimacy of the appointments, to the attention & space provided at the delivery — my experience was a 10/10. I would HIGHLY recommend Sunrise Birthing Center to anyone looking to deliver with a midwife in or around Ventura. Karni is an angel on earth and is doing exactly what she’s meant to be doing. 💕
I’m currently going back to Karni for my third pregnancy and couldn’t be more excited to complete this pregnancy with her from start to finish. Karni is so knowledgeable, wise, and genuinely caring. I decided to do an out of hospital birth after I was disappointed with the hamster wheel of Kaiser OBs. This was my first pregnancy and Karni made it very clear about all the different outcomes and reasons why a hospital transfer might happen.
