We specialize in equine veterinary medicine, but also treat small animals while we are at farms. Our full veterinary services are provided using a combination of Western and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine but most notably, we have made a name for ourselves with our acupuncture services.

The vet responded to my barn to treat sore in my horses leg. Immediately Kayla said the sore was pythium. She recommended giving my mare immunotherapy shots every week. The total for the shots was $850. The next appointment was for a minimal Debriding. When these two appointments were completed the entire bill came to $1687.00. There was no improvement. I called another vet, Whitney VanWinkle, who diagnosed the sore as a “summer sore” and removed the entire thing!! Also she sent a sample to the University of Florida who conf... read more
Dr. Carla and Dr. Kurtz responded from my to my plea for help with my horse Dixie tonight within 2 to 3 minutes. In almost 10 years of Dr. Carla has attending to my horses and at times my friends horses when they were unable to reach their own vets. I have the upmost trust and faith in Dr. Carla and her wonderful colleagues. Thank you both so much for tonight and every other time you have been there on routine calls and emergency calls. You are amazing! Thank you xx

After an odd series of tests- Nia was tested positive for Lyme Disease. And from ther... read more

The Western medicine approach of bronchodilators and steroids for the rest of her life seemed extreme and potentially dangerous. I was optimistic when Dr. Carla said there were alternatives. After three acupuncture treatments, Stella’s coughing had lessened by 80 percent. After five treatments, it was negligible. She is now fully back to w... read more
