Sunmark has great loan rates but good luck paying on the loans. They force you to only bank with them because you cant make a payment from another bank without mailing a check, or stopping in a branch to hand them a check. Not convenient at all. I’ve dealt with small town banks that have no issue pulling funds for another bank using a routing number. Is it really that hard for Sunmark to get on board?
I went into the Sunmark in Rotterdam to open up a savings account. The branch was about to close but David was willing to sit with me and talk me through my options 45 minutes past closing. I ended up leaving with a savings and checking account. We also discussed the options of credit cards and personal loans to help me get by debt more under control. I’ve been a Sunmark member for over 20 years. Always happy with my service!
I have been with Sunmark Federal Credit Union for over 30 years and they are by far the best financial institute around. And yes I have had experience with three different banks and you couldn't pay me to return to them.
I like Sunmark but Now We live in Mayfield and no ATMS without paying for the withdrawal. We will be switching banks..sadly
