We love the Sunbird! Best view in the Springs, firepits at night, and great food.
Over cooked dry turkey, raw prime rib, runny potatoes, terriblw stuffing, no pumpkin pie, loud TV football, toilets out of service, cheap decor, all for $40+ per person.
saw the recent reviews and called the Manager to ask about why other's were not happy. I never received a return call from anyone. I guess that was my answer.
We t from elegant dining to people with really bad attitudes trying to dress to cowboys . Food was pit bottom. Service pot bottom.
Been a few times and pretty disappointed every time: Steak Diane presented table side, over cooked and under seasoned. Brunch pretty much looks like someone yelled "food fight" for ... wait for it, over cooked and under seasoned too much time over the Sterno food.
DONT BOTHER... DISGUSTING - My first visit to the sunbird... The food was disgusting. Nothing was warm... nothing was being refilled. The food was not good at all... Even the Prime rib was not edible... the view isnt even that great.... My server was nice but the rest of the staff seemed like they could care less... I went there thinking this place was somewhere special but I have had better meals at IHOP... GROSS
We had our wedding and reception here, it was just perfect and the staff was wonderful. They let us stay til midnight!
Will be back! Under new management (as of October 2011). This place is now on the right track to match its location in terms of becoming an icon of a restaurant. The new manager, Richie, is focused on fining tuning the Sunbird into a true, fine dining experience. He has already taken care of any cleanliness issues that you may have read about, and, is now taking on the challenge to upgrade the wine experience so that it can truly complement the excellent food.
