I attempted to go to Dr. Sun as a new patient. He refused to listen to my symptoms, which I admittedly had trouble explaining because I did not know why I was having eye pain--only when the eye pain occured. Because I could not explain the problem well, he became very rude and condescending. When I told him that he didn't need to be rude, he told me to leave. I should have read reviews before booking my appointment because it sounds like I am not the only patient that has left this office nearly in tears. I went for a routine eye exam and was honest about leaving my contacts in for long periods of time. At the start of my exam, Dr. Sun told me he could not accept me as a patient because of this and then told me I would need to either "change my attitude or find a new doctor" to which I replied "okay" in shock. I went to Dr Sun as a new patient and have been really pleased—he was able to diagnose and treat an eye infection that the regular optometrist missed. He clearly knows his stuff and his office staff was always able to squeeze me in. I’ll keep seeing him for sure!

I enjoyed an excellent relationship with Dr Sun’s office for a number of years before leaving the city. He and his team are kind and professional.
