I used to really love this establishment BUT recently I have been informed that they are doing "to-go cocktails" on their patio which makes for a patio full of people in the middle of a shelter in place order. I am a waitress and bartender and having places like Sun Ray Cafe open their doors in a loop hole will make it so the service industry and entire community will suffer. Selfish and ignorant to say the very least.
I love Sun Ray, but you are putting people in danger and it’s a very bad look.

Such a cute little café! We stopped in after visiting the Boise Depot and Camel's Back Park for some lunch and were blown away by the food and atmosphere. From classic rock on the stereo to the best club sandwich I've had in a long time, Sun Ray Café is somewhere I'd definitely return to.
Great get-away place to relax with great food!!!
Such a welcoming place with delicious food. My wife got the Split Pea Soup, my mom got the Mushroom soup and I got the pork tortilla soup. Everything was so delicious
