Love my sun oven use it for all sorts of cooking, had it for 5 years so it well tested . It does the best pork roast slow cooked with a apricot sauce over it ,plus you can use it to dehydrate any spare veg for use in the winter months

Excellent product. I have two and I cook year round with them. I've probably already got my money back for one of them by saving on air conditioning and electric stove savings. I love this product and recommend it highly. I am a DIY type of guy, but I could not build one as good as this.

We have had a sun oven for many years and use it almost all the time , all season long, so great in the summer months, no hot kitchen to make beans, squash, and we cook all our grains too. Now we have two of them and it is quite often both of them are going at the same time. Food cooked in the sun oven tastes better. Perhaps the most incredible thing I have discovered is making sun oven Chaga. It needs to be cooked all day in a crock in the sun oven, with a plate to keep out the light. I also would like about 2-3 inches larger so that regular pots and pans could be used. It works very well, and I also have 2 so that I can cook a whole meal. I put it in a cart so that I can just drag it around to follow the sun. Much easier.

Love my Sun Oven... We seldom run out of sun in the Las Vegas area so there are lots of available trial cooking attempts.... While I use the recipes from online I do try and come up with a few to satisfy our zesty appetites... nothing bad so far…

We really enjoy this oven. I set it up mid-day and usually cook a chicken. It comes out perfectly. I used it to dry sliced apples and then froze them. It took about 2-3 hours. In our desert area it usually gets up to about 300-350 degrees. I follow the directions and rotate the oven slightly to get the best of the sun.

This is my second Sun Oven. We bought one at the MREA Fair back in about 1995 and have used it extensively over the years. It still works! We were going to try to buy (or build) a BIGGER solar oven to have more room for cooking pots, but there weren't really any viable options (besides your village-sized one . . .). So now we have two--and use them both! I must say that the improvements in the new model are spectacular--more space in the oven, the T-shaped support rod, the stackable racks for dehydrating and cooking. Congrat... read more

Four out of Five Stars Great so far. With the panels extended, It is a little awkward to work with but I can say that they really did a great job overall. No doubt about that.
