The Urology dept and their masters in the Anesthesia dept are an uncaring lot. They put me in danger and then canceled my procedure.
The doctors are not the reason for my 1 star...they were great!!! SUMMIT HEALTHS BILLING are crooks & if you don't keep record of your payments & copy of cleared checks be assured SUMMIT HEALTH will rob you. My daughter had an out patient same day procedure June 2022, my 1st bill came in July 2022 & I made a payment followed by 2 separate payments in Aug. 2022. They used to be a great healthcare company. Now they shuffle patients in and out, overbook them and make everyone sit in waiting rooms upwards of 2 hours waiting for a 10 minute doctor visit. I recently contacted the Opthalmology Department, now located in New Providence, NJ across the road from their Berkeley Heights headquarters and spoke with an Amy, who informed me that the next eye exam availability is in March 2023. The neurology dept is terrible. My Dad was seen on 7/25 went back on 7/26 to drop off some forms for being out of work and I called 8/3 to see if they were completed and I was told they were ready when we got there they were not but my fault I didn’t get a name of the person I spoke to. It doesn’t take that long to fill out those forms🤬🤬🤬🤬
The lovely PA who treated me was wonderful. I was told to visit my own doctor for a CT scan. Unfortunately my Doc was out of town and advised me to ask Summit Medical to write a prescription. I went back and a very rude receptionist barked that they do not do that and obviously my Doctor had no clue about the running of their establishment. I left disappointed. Still have not gotten X-ray results days after visit. What’s the point in urgent care if I can’t get X-ray results to see if I have a broken bone. Calling them to ask about results and still on hold for over 45 minutes. There is nothing fast about this urgent care at Summit Health.
My mother went two days ago. This was not an easy task. I made an appointment online. Two hours later still they didn't see her. Why make an appointment when they are not honored. My mother got up and left. They are a disgrace. NEVER AGAIN.
I went to a Summit Medical Group surgeon in Florham Park. I paid a $125. consultation fee. The office was supposed to do their due diligence and get back to me with my out of pocket costs and other information. I waited...nothing. I called and spoke to people several times and was told they'd track down the information and get back to me...nothing.
