New Management I just moved into these apartments the day before new management took over and named it The Ellington. It's actually a pretty great place considering what I'm paying! We have a one bedroom apartment building T on the top floor and have had no issues with bugs or anything! I was afraid of that when reading old reviews. They've resolved the issues with that, at least in the T building on the top floor! WARNING DO NOT RENT HERE Hello all! My boyfriend and I moved out of the summit last summer as we were told my mother had Stage 4 Cervical Cancer. Anyway, our expiernce while living in the S building was absolutely TERRIBLE. The staff are absolutely horrible, unorganized, and can be very un-trust worthy. We have had really bad roaches crawling under our door to the point to where we had no choice but to duck tape our selves in EVERY NIGHT for six months. Please DONT DO IT! Management is Simply HORRBLE! You have unexplained charges such as a Service Charge on the online system which charges you $18 to pay your rent(NOT IN LEASE) and your rent is always HIGHER than what its supposed to be UNEXPLAINED. You are being charged water and sewage from a Third Party Company(NWP) in which the apartments have NO visible water meters and your bill is NEVER what its supposed to be. Don't Do It!! Don't ever in life move over here. Don't ever in life move into any apartment complex owned by BH Management. They are terrible. They don't care about their residents and never do what is asked of them. They give you the run around and when I asked for the office manager's supervisor's number or email she gave me and email address that routed right back to her. New Resident!! I recently moved into Summit @860 and I am very happy and satisfied with my apartment. I love the location of the complex and all that it has to offer. I am a people person and am extremely excited to meet all of my neighbors. The leasing office personnel have been kind and help when approached or notified about needed repairs or questions concerning the complex. It is now Overlook Estates 3 stars is exactly what these apartments are. It isn't bad, but you hope you can move somewhere else eventually. I liked my neighbors and the management was friendly. I moved because they increased my rent to more than I thought the unit was worth.
To the Naysayers...You get what you pay for. I'm a 5-year resident who's watched the steady and much-needed improvement of the complex come to fruition. The office personnel has always been courteous, kind, helpful and quick to resolve all my issues, as there have been few. The complex is convenient to the bus line with supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants nearby.
