Beware!!! Stay away from this sly doc! I had an appointment with the dentist next door and walked into Dr. Girgis' office by mistake. They proceeded to make me think my appointment was with them-I was a new patient and didn't realize I was in the wrong place. After a few minutes, I figured it out and went next door where I belonged. As I came to find out, that apparently wasn't the first time she tried to trick a patient. Everyone is crazy I dont know under what grounds these reviews were made on, but I for one completely disagree. I have never met a more pleasant Dr. in my life, and I hate the dentist. As most people do. When I go for my regular check up, I feel in safe hands with her, and it is always a pleasure to be there. She is social, courteous, and kind. I guess its impossible to please everyone however. The bad reviews above must be written by very hard to please customers, i wouldn't even call u patients.
Stay away They told my son he had to have his Adult Back Teeth removed cause they were not coming in. Lies hes now 20 and they have fully came in, They told him they were impacted and would never come in and wanted to charge me $2500! Im so glad I didnt pay for it.
Rushes to get things done I was very displeased with the cleaning staff along with the actual main dentist. Everything was done in a manner that you weren't important and that time was more important then the quality of work. There was very little personal conversation and there was a weird silence for most of the appointment. I will be definitely going some place else for my next schedule cleaning.
A rude dentist! Dr. Girgis works form an office on Staten Island at American Dental as well. She is curt, abrupt, rude, and far from being friendly or comforting. She cleaned my teeth like she was scrubbing a pot and then made rude comments. She has an abrasive personality and on top of that when she gave a diagnosis of gingivitis (which has not been proven by any other dentist yet), she said it so matter of factly with no comforting words or recommendations. I do not recommend her or American Dental at all!
