Long waiting time (45min, 15min, 50 min..) which was quite challenging when coming in with kids. Received a surprise call after 6 months that we owe a lot more $. Each procedure had been verified with insurance and we knew how much we would owe and settled it. 6 months later we got a call that there was a mistake and we owe much more that we had initially paid. I wrote this review several months ago, but decide against posting it because we parted ways with Summerfield on good terms. However, since they just sent a $125 collections notice for god knows what, after reviewing no earlier bills from them, it feels right to let this go out... I will start this review by saying that everyone at this practice was always really nice to us and our kids, and so were we in return. Dr. Mohammadi diagnosed my 5 year with 6 cavities (correctly.) He insisted that, due to her “high anxiety levels,” they would have to put her under general anesthesia. When I asked if we could try nitrous, he was adamant that he knew children, he had been doing the job for a long tome, and my child was just not a candidate. Flash forward to a second pediatric dentist (in White Plains), and they were able to do the entire procedure using only nitrous. Dr Vali is extremely detailed and effective. Which is what I want in a dentist specially for my children. Both of my children had braces and Dr. Vali was very proactive making sure they wouldn't get cavities. His office runs smoothly and they do the paper work for the insurance claims even when insurance coverage is not optimal. I have recommended him to many of my friends who are now his patients as well.
My daughter has been going there for a few years and she has always been excited to go. Not only are they clean and up to date...the environment and staff is welcoming and always willing to take the time to answer any questions. My daughter always feels comfortable and Dr. Vali is very professional and lots of fun!!
Dr. Vali is unprofessional, disrespectful and treats his employees horribly. Please do not subject yourself or your children to him or the atmosphere he creates in his office. Outrageous!
