Fantastic. Great attention to detail and love the little "allergy" skewers used to remind staff to be careful - smart.

Lots of gluten and dairy free choices on the menu, now if they could just do a gluten, dairy and chocolate free cookie I'd be very happy.

Had to come and try this place out as my husband had eaten here once during a business meeting and he knew I would enjoy it. Daughter #1 had the Prime burger (med well)...it was soft and juicy...delicious! Daughter #2 had the chicken tacos and they were ok...I had the rainbow trout with mash potatoes and some walnuts....Fish was delish and mash potatoes were nice and hot. Summer House is one of a kind in the DC area: its ambiance is reminiscent of the effervescence of sunny California with the calming hues of blues & light yellows. The selections of the food are outstanding & fresh. My boys esp love their huge chocolate salted cookies. I love the tuna tataki with watermelons & the salad selections. I'm happy that it's right in my neighborhood, too. �
