My mom came in for counseling- and divulged that my 10 year old daughter was staying home alone while I work. Which is completely legal. This woman told my mom (who is an RN mind you) that she would need to report that to children services. Talk about triggering and unprofessional. I am grateful my mom chose not to tell me the counselors name because I would be inclined to report her to a higher authority. Wildly inappropriate- HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!
For a Behavior Health Center, I say this place is extremely nice. Getting your own room is a major plus! I didn't have any problems with the Nurses or the MITs. You give respect, you get respect. I felt completely safe while I was there. And the food is beyond good! I ate better while I was there than I do at home. So a HUGE shout out to all the kitchen staff!! 🙌 Thank you to the Nurses and MITs for taking the time to get coffee or something for me to drink anytime I would like it. Visited a loved one. The staff saved their life.. Never forget!
edit: I just received a copy of my records from this place and they are inaccurate, they leave extremely important info out, and they falsified information about my medications and previous medical history. I will be contacting them for corrections. This is unbelievable! avoid this place at all costs! the group therapy / sessions were good. I requested one-on-one therapy but I guess they didn't have time for me or something idk?
