Love Akron Summa family medicine! ALL of their staff are nice smart caring informative and some doctors and staff even go out of their way to help you understand things better. I highly recommend them. I had a surgery yesterday even and when I left there I felt like I never even had surgery. I just felt woozy from the anesthesia. I was born at Summa Akron City and have been receiving care at the family medicine center ever since. I’m 22 now. I’ve had offers to follow my doctors as they pursued new positions elsewhere, but I declined. It’s an extension of my home, which is already close by. The doctors and staff have been nothing but warm, compassionate and understanding. I have only good things to say about Summa.
Very transactional doctors office. I am pregnant and the office stopped my refills on my prenatal vitamins and my iron supplements while I was still a patient of their office. I keep having to complain and advocate for myself. As a black female, this place does not make me feel safe or cared about.
