We just had a horrible experience at Fairlawn Urgent Care with my son, who had a ruptured eardrum yesterday afternoon. Something happened in the process of sending his medication order to the pharmacy, so I was unable to pick up medication the same day and called urgent care twice the next day. Both times I called, the pharmacy was blamed for not having the medicine and ZERO responsibility was taken by urgent care personnel to work this out. Recommendedprofessional prompt care. knowledgeable staff. I have been here 3 times for care. I come here when I am unable to get an appt with my PCP. clean waiting room and facilities. staff is friendly and courteous.

I visited on Tuesday and had Joseph Gainer as my doctor and he had me in and out in 30 minutes. The nurse was really great.

Ever wanted to go take time out of your day to sit at a doctors office only to have them lose your blood they took? This is the place for you. The great thing is if you were lucky enough to stumble into this situation they will also allow you to come back in and waste another hour waiting to have them try again. Save your self some time there are other better hospital systems in akron. That have to be more competent.
My experience at Summa Urgent Care was quick and efficient. I came in with a possible shoulder fracture and was taken for x-rays immediately and told my diagnosis shortly after. Bedside manor was wonderful, we joked about the literal chip on my shoulder and how humorous it was that I broke my humerus. I very much recommend this Urgent Care facility to others.
