I lived at Sulgrave for about 2 years and had a great experience. Besides being in a beautiful historic building, working with a family-owned leasing company made all the difference in getting any issues that did come up addressed in a timely manner. James always prioritizes the safety and comfort of his tenants. Ultimately I just wanted to be a bit closer to downtown DC, but Sulgrave was excellent.

I lived there for four years and enjoyed it a great deal - charming building with old fashioned touches you don’t see in modern buildings, fairly quiet despite proximity to Connecticut Ave. Easy access to parks (eg Rock Creek), 3 metro stations (Tenleytown, Van Ness, Friendship Hts), grocery stories. Near 2 library branches and catty corner to Politics and Prose. Pretty quick to get to 495.

The building continues to hire a gardener who uses an illegal gas blower, but the manager basically told me to pound sand when I called him to complain.
