Dr Acharya is very methodical, gentle and intelligent. Grasps the medical problems and other quality of life issues, uses his knowledge of best practices in Urology and research, and recommends the best options. I persnally researched a lot on my prostate condition and he explained the trade-off s in my best interest life long. I think he is brilliant, diligent and caring. His staff is nice, always helpful.

Dr. A performed surgery on me and then i was informed that my follow up post operation evaluation would not have a copay. I paid for the surgery and the anesthesia etc on monthly payments. I get there for my follow up appt. and they tell me the copay is hundreds of dollars. Hundreds!!! They should have said this nonsense on the phone! His staff was so inconsiderate and rude. I will not use his services in the future

I highly recommend Dr. Acharya to anyone facing kidney surgery. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer that required a partial nephrectomy to remove the tumor. Dr. Acharya was very calm and patient explaining the procedures to me and my wife. We felt that Dr. Acharya had the knowledge and experience we trusted plus a genuine interest in us as individuals. During surgery there were complications getting to the tumor but In the end the tumor was removed and a successful surgery.
