Just terribly rude and I seriously questioned her credentials, competence, and compassion. She was forced on me at Advent Tampa, and I fired her the second I was released (not by her, she wanted to move me to rehabilitation. Luckily my neurosurgeon over ruled her poor decision!) Run away from this woman.
I saw she had gotten bad reviews. Wish I would have stayed away. Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for her to even see, just to have her literally spend less than 5 minutes with me. She was dismissive when I talked to her in that only 5 minutes and clearly was trying to rush out the door. Terrible terrible practice. What a waste of time, isn't ironic that you get charged for being late, but a doctor can waste as much of your time as they like.
I found her very rude. She talked over me every time I tried to speak. I had to tell her to listen before she would stop talking. I asked her for a sample shot of amovig because I could not afford it this month. She went on and on about how they do not normally give out samples and that if she did, I was not to expect it all the time, which I did not nor do not. I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DOCTOR. DO NOT SAY YES TO A NERVE CONDUCTION TEST. SHE WILL BASICALLY TASE YOU, THEN SHE WENT TO PUT A NEEDLE IN MY LEG, I SAID NO WAY.
I first met Dr. Borra while hospitalized at Florida Hospital main campus in Tampa, FL. I have to say that I feel I am lucky and privileged to have her as a healthcare provider. She is a provider who doesn't believe in band-aiding issues but test to get to the root of the issues, to properly be treated. Her bedside manner matches the professionalism of her and her and her staff. All are efficient, courteous, personable and soothing to each patient's needs. I highly recommend her.
She actually cares about her patients. While we all complain about how long we wait to see any dr. Dr gives each patient quality time, to meet the needs of each individual. This seems to be rare with other Drs. I've been her patient over 11 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough, I highly recommend her. The staff is also as dedicated and this is a refreshing and much appreciated.
