I'm a Carolina gal in town on business, so when my friends told me they'd found a BBQ spot I was skeptical....well, I was pleasantly surprised! Of course, I ordered The CAROLINA with brisket and I almost bit my fingers off!! I ordered the fries and my friends ordered the Daddy with Mac n cheese! All was GREAT! We ordered the shakes and Tequila Sunset and they were AWESOME! The service was very welcoming and awesome, as well...Nice job SugarFire...next time in town I'll definitely be back!!
I had the most tender pulled pork sandwich ever. The fries are perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sea salt!!

Every time we come to St Louis we try different restaurants that we have not been to. That said we have tried several BBQ places, and this is one of the best!!! I got a big muddy and loved it. The wife had pulled pork sandwich and felt the same about it.
Went there when you first opened and had the ribs and loved them. Been back over a half dozen times each time being told you are out of ribs. Tonight was no different. Then tried to order brisket, no brisket. If you continually are running out wouldn't that be a sign to start making more? It hasn't been just once. Been to other locations they had ribs. We value your comments Gary. We play a guessing game everyday of how much to prepare for a hungry BBQ crowd. One of the reasons our pitmasters lose sleep is over exactly that calculation. It is, many days, as much dependent on the weather as it is the various catering events, luncheons, and area sporting events. Always great food with large portions. Friendly people with a great location by the river. My 16 old son and I go there often. It's our favorite burgers ever!
