I feel like my experience was most certainly an isolated one but the lady at the register caught a serious attitude when I decided not to tip her what she felt she deserved. Also, my sides were cold and there was nowhere to sit. Sugarfire is waaaaaay overrated. I'll take Pappys or Smokehouse over it any day.
Last year, My husband and I heard about this place while driving from Va. to Colorado for an Art show. We set our GPS for "sugarfire smoke house" arrived after 1and 1/2 days driving... It didn't disappoint. We headed west again this week, plugging their address again. Pulled pork sandwich was fantastic!!!!! We'll try to make it on our way back East in a week or so!!!
Best BBQ in St. Louis, hands down. Would never, ever get sick of eating here. Be prepared to wait in line, but there is a reason for this... it's sooooo good!
Service was terrible but the food was ok... They are not patient for 1st time customers...
Me and a co worker was in St Louis for a job we are from Southern Illinois we found Sugerfire Smoke House in Google eateries and was very well pleased with the food the staff and the portion sides was way over our expectations it was more than I could eat! I will definitely be back the food is amazing!
