About this business

Sugarfire Smoke House is not your typical American BBQ joint. Located in Olivette, this restaurant advocates an unconventional approach in their cooking. On the award-winning menu are arguably the best smoked meats in town prepared by their skilled pit masters and paired with signature sauces like Coffee, Sweet BBQ and Carolina Mustard. Tuck into decadent Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Baby Back Ribs, Big Muddy and House Recipe Sausage Link with shakes, floats or beer.

We had lunch at Sugarfire today for the first time, and have to say it was by far the BEST BBQ in St Louis, and well worth the wait in line. It was tastefully decorated for Halloween too, which added a fun twist to our experience!

Tried the Waka burger, bacon was really tasty and the brisket melts in your mouth. Also had a quad of ribs, they had a little more pull than i care for but they were tasty. Also the horseradish in the white bbq sauce cuts through the sweetness of the ribs. Makes for a great compliment.

This place is doing it right! Best smoked meat outside of my own backyard.

I'm not sure how the people cutting the meat know that they are truly giving you a 6 or 8 ounce portion if they don't actually weigh it. A few downsides: I had green bean casserole which was inedible. The green beans weren't cooked and the sauce was runny and had no flavor. I also had the hashbrown casserole which tasted like it was left over from days prior and had very little seasoning. My husband had the be... read more
