When I first walked into the restaurant, I was greeted warmly and given a quick overview of what they offer and some of the menu options. The staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. I ordered the chicken tamales, which were 2 for $6. If you like a little spice, you definitely have to give these a try! They were flavorful and had just the right amount of kick.
Everything was awesome but… it took almost 30 minutes to get two cold brew coffees and a couple of donuts and there was only one person in front of us. I highly recommend you trying it!! Update… Sugar mama listens to feedback!!! Second time back here and it was much better.
This is a lovely spot, the donuts are pretty good but sometimes the taste of fryer oil is a little too pungent. It's nice that they will make custom flavors, made to order. They have a lot of coffee options which you can also get made-to-order. Overall, it's a nice place and I recommend it. The only suggestion I have as someone who has even there many times, the fryer smell in the small enclosed area is unbearable.
