If you have children or value your safety in this covid world do NOT go here. They do not uphold any of the mask on buses rules nor the "no alcohol" rule so I had to have (there was no other way back to my vehicle) my 3 small kids on a bus full of drunk people, shouting, yelling and causing my kids to ask me days later even if that was okay for them to do. RecommendedEven though water was low, the staff was helpful and nice! The canoes were good quality and the scenery was beautiful! Great day!
they had a drone spying on us on the river. charged us a 160 dollar late fee when the river was way low and we had to carry our kayaks most of the way. i do not recommend this place. just go to current river
Helpful, friendly staff. Campground is very well taken of. We loved our side right next to the beach/creek. The 5 mile canoe trip is a great trip, with the added bonus of ending at the campground. Lots of activities for the kids! We had a great week!
It’s really a great place. They’re so nice and accommodating and the cabins are quite frankly beautiful. Every need we had was attended to. The only thing I didn’t like was the office closed early. We purposely waited as late as possible so we had ice over night and went to the offices half hour before closing time and they were shut down.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. There was no warning of the amounts of rocks or trees that we were going to have to dodge. Floating down the creek should’ve been a relaxing experience and not one to where we should’ve had to paddle clear ourselves of rocks and trees. They want you to take responsibility for potential damage to their equipment but do not warn of the several obstacles that you have to dodge in the process to not cause damage or personal injury.
