Beautiful, original, delicious food. The potato-wrapped halibut is amazing, as is the Seafood Zarzuela. We loved the Ruby 2015 Pinot Noir with both dishes, and it was perfect at the end, with the Pots de Creme. Can’t say enough about this meal! Very nice service, too. Thank you, Janie!
I was invited to Subterra tonight for a presentation. I had the potato wrapped Halibut. The food was amazing and the service exceptional. Can’t wait to bring my family back to try another one of their fabulous dishes.

Other than being a little pricey it was great. The meat in the Newberger was incredible with the minced short rib and bacon mixed in with the ground beef - what incredible flavor!! The price on the Newberger wasn't too bad, but the dinner menu looked rather expensive. But no complaint about the food itself. My Newberger and my wife's quiche were excellent, and we enjoyed the creme brulee we shared for dessert. The night we went was a slow night for Subterra. Great atmosphere and great customer service from our waitress. The food arrived at our table perfectly timed, so we never felt rushed to finish what had already been served and nothing was cold from sitting too long waiting for us to finish what we already had. Delicious. Would definitely go back to celebrate a special occasion.
Short notice on Saturday night, tasty food wonderful wine list. The best service (thanks Jess). Incredible end to a great day on the west side of the valley.
