This is the best auto shop!
I was very pleased with the service that I received recently at Stuttgart Autohaus. I own a 1983 VW Vangon Camper (air cooled) that I took on a cross country tour from Wisconsin to California. On my return trip I became aware of several problems that required attention, including an unusual noise coming from underneath the vehicle. They are great!! I have been very, very happy with Gary and his whole team at Stuttgart. I have had numerous problems with my car, and Gary has been great throughout.
EFNGRVN These guys are truly awesome. Gary is as hands on as they come and when it comes to VW's, there is nobody better than Raul West of the Mississippi. While looking for a used VW, I talked to Gary about what to look for and when I found the right one I took it to them to do a pre-buy inspection. It turned out to be the best $94 I ever spent. Ripped off at Stuttgart Autohaus Beware, the owner will take you for all you've got. He tried to charge $290 for work I had completed instead at a reputable shop with certified mechanics for $147, with a better warranty. When I turned down the work based on the over-the-top estimate, he charged me $47 for time to diagnose the problem. The second shop diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes.
