We got married on Washington Island in 2007. We returned to Door County to celebrate our 10th Anniversary this year. We love it! If we could go back every year we would. :) I've never seen another place like it.
I have traveled to Door County (Peninsula State Park) ever since I was born... it's a summer family tradition that we have never missed (27 years)! We look forward to this trip every year. Door County has a lot to do outside (hiking, biking, camping) as well as our usual tourist stops (Fish Creek shops, swimming at the beaches, the Door County Confectionary, Al Johnson's, Rotten Tomato, Fred and Fuzzy's, Not Licked Yet--- if you haven't noticed, we love the food in DC!). IT'S "HOME" ANYTIME OF THE YEAR! I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DOOR COUNTY FOR OVER 40 YEAR'S. I TREASURE EACH AND EVERY MOMENT. INCREDIBLE SCENERY, WARM WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND FOOD SPECTACULAR. MY LOVE FOR LIGHTHOUSES IS SATURATED. THANK YOU DOOR COUNTY.
We honeymooned in sister bay and it was the best week we have ever had. We have two little ones now and cannot wait to get back up there...alone!!

As a life long Southern Door County resident, I am very pleased that the DCVB has been inclusive in their marketing by sharing posts about our area. Southern Door has much to offer.
