This place was amazing. Let me name some reasons one he got me in almost immediately with the owner Nam Tran. He started off giving me knowledge on how to keep my hair healthy and how to properly style it. Upon my first visit to Studio-N, I was warmly greeted and immediately seated for a cut. Nam, the owner/stylist, listened carefully to what I wanted and then proceeded to assess my hair--its texture, the multiple cowlicks, and the idiosyncratic way that my hair sits on my head. Best salon in Albuquerque, and now they are certified in Ouidad for us curly-haired girls. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional, and everyone is always very kind and helpful. Nam cuts and styles my hair, and he is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend checking out Studio N.
This is one for the best salons I have been to! Needed a cut and color on short notice! Nam and his stylists had no problem getting the job done. Got an amazing cut from Nam and a wonderful color from Yvette! They listened to what I wanted. Atmosphere was very clean and relaxing! I now recommend this salon to anyone I come across!
I have known the owner since High school and counted it an honor and a priviledge that he agreed to do my hair and the hair of the bridal party for my best friends wedding. I am African American with braids in my hair and he worked with me, and the rest of the multi-cultural wedding party. Studio N also has Mariana is the best make up artist. We all look gorgeous for my best friends perfect day! LOVE LOVE LOVE the professional, clean and energetic atmosphere!
