Awesome -- Love my cut – I got a hair cut and really like my style. Cindy gives really good advice and she knew what would suit my hair which got damaged by heat and coloring by a dumb salon on Newbury street last year. I am going back very soon.
What a great find! – Great , fun, casual place with terrific service! This place surprised me by how great the cuts and color were and yet had such reasonable prices and wonderful deals for return customers. But perhaps what brings me back is the warmth and humor of the stylists. It's like a big fun family and you are welcome to be a part of it if you are in the mood for some lively chatting.
Great cut and color with Kelly! – Studio 291 is friendly,convenient, and affordable, but the best part about the place is my stylist, Kelly. I have been going to Kelly for quite a while now, and have never been more pleased with the recent cut and color she gave me. I received 10 compliments in one day on the color! Great highlights and cut – I just moved to the Metrowest area a year ago from NYC area and could not find a place for color near my home. I tried two expensive salons nearby and was not pleased at all with the honey-blonde highlights. As a last resort I made an apptm. at a salon on Newbury St - but changed my mind when I read the online reviews about Studio 291 in Newton. Blonde highlights w/cut – This was my second visit with Cindy. The first time I was pleased. She is very nice - everyone at the salon is. Cindy was able to squeeze me in last minute and I guess this was her off day. In one instant the long hair that I used to have and was so happy with was gone. We stay late, come in early, or do everything we can to squeeze the client in so it works for them. We also make every effort to listen to our clients. Inconvenient Location, Surprisingly great services! – Mind you, I drive a lot for a living and this place was in a rather awkward location that took a while to find. However, when I got there I was pleasantly surprised by the urban feel to the salon. I was there for a one-process and a conditioning treatment - both of which turned out fantastically. Best Hair color and Friendliest Staff – Studio 291 is the best place to get your hair done. I am a very low maintenance hair person and I was looking for a place that made me feel comfortable and offer professional advice. Studio 291 is where I got it. Best haircut and service ever!!!! – I've been working construction for many years now and I always wamted a haircut that looked just as good "dressed down" as it does if I go out for the night.
