The worst hair color experience! – I read all the wonderful reviews and decided to have my hair colored at this place. Making an appointment with the owner was a bit difficult. I waited a whole week although my hair needed to be done super fast as my wedding was sheduled just 2 weeks away. I was really hopeful that she won't mess up my hair but i was wrong. When we receive a negative review, we take it as constructive criticism and try then bettering ourselves from it. But this review has caused me to go on the defensive. I did everything I could to fit you in. I stayed open late on night to accommodate you before your wedding. Finally found a great salon! – I moved to the area within the past year and have tried 4 other salons in the area before coming here. I have had different variations of the same haircut for about 8 years and I know what I do and don't like. My hair is pretty short, so it's not an easy cut. Many stylists around here have come close, but Cindy gave me exactly what I asked for. i will definitely be going back there!
Disappointed – I thought to try this salon because it was well reviewed and much closer to home. I researched all the reviews and decided that although there were some unsatisfied customers (i.e. uneven cut, ten minute cut, etc.), I dismissed the reviews as unsatisfied customers which are typical in salon reviews (and maybe a little exaggerated). Under no circumstances is it acceptable to me for someone to come into our salon and pay for a service that they were unhappy with or leave someone unhappy with the service that they received. Very Pleased! – I have tried many hair salons and upon reading the reviews, I thought I'd give it a shot. I tried to shorter hair cut which I was very nervous about. Cindy, did a great job at paying close detail and ensuring me the cut would suit my hair. Best Hair Salon – Studio 291 is the best salon I have ever been to. My daughter and I got the best hair treatments in the past two weeks. My daughter's hair was a challenge but Cindy stepped up to the plate and made sure that her hair is perfect. Cindy makes sure her clients are happy. She really likes doing what she does and it is reflected in how she treats her customers. When you want to look and feel great but you do not want the "Newbury Street" attitude go to Cindy's!
Number 1 hair salon in the area!!! – I had the same hair stylist for 20 years and after he retired I tried different places until a friend told me about Cindy so I gave her a try. Both Cindy and her staff are very professional. Since I've been going their she is very prompt on Appointments and she does an incredible job!
Have been at this salon twice for color and cut. I am making third appointment now. – So far, so great. Color is nice shade of blond, cut is good as well. I am completely satisfied with results. As someone mentioned before location is "out of the way", but it is definitely worth the drive.
Great! – I have never written a review before but I felt that I should. Studio 291 is just plain great. A few months ago I got a great new color and an easy and fun new cut. I just went back and got the same great service. In the months between my appointments I received a thank you card and an email with great discounts. I got a free conditioning treatment at my second appointment. Studio 291......nice people....nice work...nice deals. Enough said!
Croooked Haircut – Uh, I don't know what to say. My haircut is croooked!!!! Who does that?! Omg, I hate this place. Don't come here.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail. I know that it is impossible to make everyone happy. I wish you had spoken up. Don't just pay and walk out with a cut you are not happy with. Or if you were uncomfortable speaking up, call or email later. I would be more than happy to fix the cut if you are not happy.
