The team at the HU health center is literally the best!! The men and women who work there are so kind and deserve the world.
I watched two different members of staff manually enter in my updated insurance information, and one of them even “deleted” my old insurance info to avoid confusion. They still sent my bill to the old insurance somehow. My provider insisted that my UnitedHealthcare insurance fell under Medicaid and I would pay nothing for my bills, even though it was definitely NOT Medicaid and I ended up paying $200-$400 out of pocket, including for blood tests I tried to refuse at first because I knew they’d be costly.
Personally, I had a pleasant experience. My Nurse Daniella was amazing, full of energy and very kind.
