I recently graduated from El Camino College this year, and their Student Health Center really helped me when I felt sick, afraid, and vulnerable. The nurse practitioners and therapists who I met there are very sweet, caring, empathetic, and very supportive to me when I felt unwell and unsure. I drove 35 minutes through Los Angeles traffic, had to call off work, and spent money on gas, only to arrive 13 minutes late due to circumstances outside of my control. Unfortunately, I was told that they only allow a 10 minute grace period. What was most surprising was the complete lack of empathy or understanding for situations like mine. They have free snacks. The nurses are also very caring and helpful. They go above and beyond to help out with healthcare needs and offer cost saving options they have for you to save money. By the way, the location of student health center is beside the planetarium on Manhattan Beach boulevard. The google address seems wrong and not updated.
