I recently had a frustrating experience at the campus health department that I feel compelled to share. After injuring my right knee, I sought help at the health center, but I was disappointed to be referred to an off-campus hospital where I would be charged $75 just for a consultation. Crazy expensive, cost me $54 after insurance for a simple visit where I got my eye looked at for maybe 10min. The dude was super nice and actually cared about me. Still way too expensive

Even if you are told that your insurance covers the lab work and that they have verified it, the billing department will assure you that isn't their problem. While the front desk staff and medical providers have been kind and well informed, it is clear this establishment itself does not care about its students.
