Great! Professional, engaging and has solid answers to my questions and takes the time needed.
Dr. Sheifer has been my attending cardiologist for over 15 years. He is always thorough and up to date.
Follow up after initial visit. Very thorough, professional, knowegable , kind and approachable. Willing to discuss other than cardio ailments and recommend professional help. He follows my condition in between visits by ordering blood test. Does this in a smooth , understandable manner. Excellent physician.
On the plus side, Dr. Sheifert is very thoughtful and takes the time to explain his thinking with you. I never felt rushed by him. On the negative side, while it may not be his intent, there's something in his delivery that would sometimes make me feel like I was being judged. It could just be me, but I haven't gotten that from other cardiologists. Your impression may be very different. Dr. Sheifer is experienced, knowledgeable and communicates extremely well. And I’ll always be grateful to him for saving my life. One important point: It’s much easier to schedule appointments by phone now than it was 5 years ago.
Good:friendly. Bad:no way to contact them or make an appointment! An old outdated website that is a reflection of the entire "we could care less" approach to patient centered care. As a current patient called the phone number. It rings to a call center, where you go to a decision tree then get a recording that says "our agents are assisting other customers, leave a call back number": Never got a call after multiple trys. Tried finding their website email, that is well hidden. That did not work.
