This was a routine follow up. My husband and I moved 1.5 hours southwest of Richmond November 2018 and we continue to drive the 3-4 hours (depending on traffic) to see him. When in my first years of seeing him (48 years old) I was scheduled for a cardiac cath and had emergency bypass surgery the next morning. I’m 60 now and truly believe I’m still alive because of Dr Sheifer and the VA Heart staff. They are all knowledgeable, professional and they really care. Thank you Dr Sheifer-you saved my life.
