SPM is bad enough that I had to sue them to recover funds they took from us with no explanation....and won the judgment. There seems to be no interest in actually doing what they are supposed to - only collecting funds....the tenants and theirs. If you still use SPM after seeing all of the reviews from Google, Yelp, BBB, then you get what you deserve.

Been renting a property from SPM and they are terrible! If I was the home owner I would fire their #\$%\$ pronto! Thank goodness I am not and only have a temporary dealing with them. Love my property too, but will not renew based upon the lack of attention in getting issues fixed. Six months and still have outstanding issues unresolved. Nice and great of the phone and face to face, but behind my back simply #\$%\$ off! They need more people as every time I call Michelle, she is on the phone or dealing with an emergency and s... read more

Horrible to deal with once you sign the lease. They are neglectful. There were small problems that they promised to take care of as soon as we moved in, like a broken faucet and yard work, but we have been living here for 3+ months and NOTHING has been fixed. They don t answer the phones, return emails, and our property manager is never in the office. They changed our property manager at one point, but the new one seems overwhelmed by the mess that was left for her and hasn t gotten anything accomplished. The only time we ev... read more

Inconsistent, unprofessional, terrible service. After 3 years of inconsistently paid checks, they did not notify me that the tenants were moving out. I had over \$8000 in damages (it looked like they peed on the walls and tried to tear off every doorjamb in the house) and Strother P.M. did nothing. They did not even assess the damages, and it took months and numerous phone calls before they even gave me the security deposit. I am the landlord and I began renting with Strother Property Management earlier this year. From the very beginning I have experienced nothing but problems with them. The first month the paid my proceeds to the wrong landlord!! Every month after that, it takes any where from 2-3 weeks for me to receive my rent from the tenant.
