Quality & Price not good! – October 2 2010 My wife and I celebrated our wedding day. We looked so forward to eat at Strings after recommendations and after looking online at the menu it looked very nice. WORST SERVICE EVER – Saturday March 6th was my wife’s 33rd birthday party .I called String’ s and asked if they could accommodate a reservation for 20? I was told that it would be an hour or so wait. I agreed and called my party .We had people drive form all over Denver, Highlands Ranch, and Castle Pines. My wife and I personally drove in from Castle Pines a 40min drive. Strings on Humboldt The food is always outstanding and the service is great. I can not say enough about the ambiance. It is a lovely restaurant with excellent food.
Delightful Dining Experience Food is delicious. Wine list is extensive and fabulous. Decor is tasteful and fun. Service is excellent. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
Strings Restaurant is worth it! This place is a wonderful experience. It is a bit expensive, but definitely worth every penny. It is a great local Denver place to go. The decor is wonderful too.
A tradition in Denver – If you were around in the '80's, that is what the atmosphere is kind of like. It's just not all that modern but it does have a lush feel to it. The staff is attentive, the owner is usually present and the food and drinks are well-prepared. great place for private parties – We had my daughter's b-day party there in the back private room. At dessert time, they brought a platter full of miniature desserts for the entire table to enjoy. They allowed me to decorate ahead of time, provided a table for gifts, and were very attentive. My husband is a dessert chef and was VERY impressed. Great Food – I can only afford to go to Strings every now and again and it always exceeds my expectations and the wait staff is very attentive. But the last time I was in there I had a hard day at work and sat in the back for some privacy and relaxation. But the strange thing was that the owner ?or manager? was on the upper level staring down at me and that made me very uncomfortable and I just glared back at him but he never appologised or anything ,it was very strange??I felt like I was being spied on.
Not as expensive as it sounds – I eat at Strings pretty regularly (and then head over to Dbar for desert). While the description says its expensive, its not really. There is a good choice of things on the menu that are really well priced and the starters are usually big enough to eat on their own. I highly recomend the beef carpaccio or during the summer they had a camembert with honey that was amazing.
