Does not keep appointments or return calls! We asked Russell for an estimate on our floors. I called and left a message but no call was returned. So I called again later that day. Russell answered and we set up an appointment for 10 am the next day. At 10:05 am Russell called and said he was stuck at a job and asked if he could come at 12 - 12:30 pm. That was fine. Gave me a bid as a licensed contractor, which I discovered after the job was left incomplete and he had required payment in full that the license was expired and he does not return or answer phone calls. BEWARE OF COMPANY! NOT LICENSED! Quality of work was not great. Used damaged piece of wood in the middle of the floor when there was extra wood that could have been used if more care had been taken. There are small gaps between the wood that are noticeable and the edges on the trim are not what we wanted.

Strictly Hardwood came highly recommended by our neighbors but I will not do the same. The floors got huge cracks in them two weeks after installation. Although the product was at fault we were promised replacement of our living room, dining room and filling of smaller cracks throughout the house. The living room looks great but instead of replacing the dining room floor which has a pattern in the middle it was filled. It looks very awful. Before my floors were redone, they looked dull and thirsty with some minor scratching. A section of my floor was just terrible - ie large cracks, popping, and discoloration. Strictly Hardwood was able to match that section with the rest of the house and make it look brand new again. My floors look incredible!
