Strafford Courts Rehab was horrible and should be closed down. Left the food tray across the room but my dad couldn't walk. Told him he had a diaper on so go to the bathroom in the diaper. Took 45 minutes to answer call bell even being told by family he needed help. No doctor saw my dad for 5 days. After told doctor he needed a chest x-ray due to coughing. My mom has lived at Stratford Court of Boca Pointe for 4 years. She is a discerning woman who doesn’t give praise arbitrarily. For the last several months however, she has been expressing to me how impressed she is with the Activities Director, Curtis Sawyer. She is impressed by his strong organizational skills and of his excellent communication abilities in planning and managing. He has been able to build a strong relationship with Mom. Please be aware before moving in your loved ones of several really significant issues. You can and will get large rent increases. We saw 10-16% increases in single years without any explanation. You will also have next to no ability to contact their financial office or general manager. We’ve called dozens of times and have found it next to impossible to get anyone to speak to us about simple billing questions. It took literal months to even get copies of bills we asked for. A loved one of mine has been in the skilled nursing at Stratford twice now after hospital stays. They really like it, as do we. Such nice, welcoming, friendly, and attentive staff there. They've taken very good care of them! We like it so much, we are looking at their Assisted Living as well. Beautiful and peaceful property too.
