Great day trip for all ages. Been coming here for three generations, over 50 years. It is always a great time.
Awesome day for my grandsons! We took our sons years ago when they were young. The train ride on the open air Hello Dolly car was perfect. The museum and history was so interesting. Make sure you take the time to read the major historical events these trains have been part of. Kids loved the crazy carts and the other activities. Definitely going back when Thomas is visiting. Wonderful time! My three-year old and two-year old both loved the trip. They loved seeing all of the landscape and scenery out the windows. Everyone at the railroad was welcoming and lovely and the lounge chairs were comfy and spacious. We’re looking forward to going back and taking advantage of the stops along the way.
Me and my husband came for vacation this past week. Me growing up on a railroad all my life, had to visit yours. I loved it and so did my husband. Your 45 minute train ride was beautiful. Loved the steam train. Your museum was incredible best one I’ve ever been too. One place I would visit again. Brought back a lot of my childhood memories ��
It was a great experience. We sat in the first class lounge with swivel seats which were big and comfy. We also enjoyed a wine spritzer and fruit and cheese platter. The ride was soothing and views were beautiful. Staff was great! Highly recommend to enjoy a piece of history like this.
This is our second family trip to Stasburg Rail Road. The kids love it. The train is magnificent especially when it's pulling in. It's really fun to watch. We even got to watch when they were filling it up with water for the steam. It was a great experience!
Great place to enjoy the trains and eat. Love the atmosphere. It's always nice and clean and the people are very friendly.
When you go to Lancaster, a train ride at Strasbourg is a must! Have been going for years!
