My family and I love Straits. If you are craving for south east Asian food, this is the place. Ambiance is great, the service is excellent, and the food hits the spot.
Has anyone noticed how small the plates are? I barely fit my food on and throughout the meal it was constantly spilling off of my plate. For what you are paying, you would think they could afford giving you larger plates. The food was just ok- not good.
Great for Large Parties – Yea, this place is pretty cool, great for large parties, they really do rock. Food comes out at the same time, always hot and fresh. Management does a great job with shaping the menu to fit a budget, then produces custom menu for the party. At night it does turn into a vegas club scene, in the front, Very cool if it is your thing.
Good food and great club venue The dinners can get very expensive, so order accordingly - but the food is great. I've typically gone during the late evening when most of the dinner parties are done and it slowly transitions into open dance floor and bar. When a band is playing, the dance floor gets really tight. The bar can easily get crowded too, so have patience, but you'll definitely need to hold your ground when trying to order a drink from the bar.
