I would not recommend Story Property Management based on my experience. Communication and follow-through were poor. I frequently had to reach out for updates, and some emails with direct questions about the marketing and activity on my property went completely unanswered. During the short time the property was actively marketed, there were also errors and omissions in the listing and delays in utilizing available advertising platforms. Had the worse experience with Story. Management is very rude and unhelpful. The day after I moved in I asked for a new lock since I could tell mine was loose, they didn’t replace until I was completely locked out a couple months later. Then I was told I would get a new door since they rigged it with a screw to close right, never got the door. They aren’t concerned about your safety. Needed a company to help me rent my home while on deployment. Poor communication and when I requested the $199 fee due to no services provided they claimed it was for doing paperwork and emailing me back and forth. Very upset I lost my hard earned working money. Will never recommend or do any further business. They were grateful and said they would waive the $650 fee they were going to charge me. Do not recommend and find a realtor who will take the time to work with people in the military. Shame on you!

I called to inquire about a property and she very rudely hung up on me. If you don't have the patience to let somebody get half a sentence out, you should not be doing that job. Tells me a lot about your company.

If you are looking for a property management company to manage your rentals, give Story Management a try. Ask for Amber, she is the absolute best! She is very attentive, if there is a problem, she gets to the bottom of it and gets it resolved and she is friendly and very easy to talk to as well. Give her a shout if you are looking for a rental, you won’t be sorry. She is awesome!
