The owner of this company previously operated another roofing company in Anchorage under the name of Four Seasons Roofing. He suddenly closed that business owing other local businesses a substantial amount of money that is still unpaid according to public records, and he left customers with worthless warranties. He states on his website that the company is one of the most respected roofing companies in the community, which is a complete untruth. After another roofer came out to fix a major leak on the roof and said he had fixed the leaking roof. The first down pour of rain the whole ceiling came down in the house. I called Steve at Storm Proof Roofing and he immediately found the problem and fixed it. Storm Proof Roofing replaced the torch down and shingles to fix the leak. No problems since. I will call the company from now on.
We recently had a deck built at our house by this company. The whole process went incredibly well! After calling for a quote they came out in a very timely manner and gave us a very competitive quote on the same day. Once we gave them the green light to install the deck they were here the same week to install it. The deck came out better than we could have ever hoped! I have known Steve, the roofer, since the mid 90's when I had him do my deck replacements & then the roof, then later cleaning gutters & shoveling snow off the roof, replace ceiling lights in garage, etc. Today he & son, Matt have replaced my old windows, sliding class door & clean/re stain the decks he put in when I 1st met him.
