Water seepage and three mice (2 dead) in my climate-controlled, drive-up unit. Alongside a monthly price increase of 29% ($329,50 to $463.25) over the course of a year, it made renting space at Storemart a poor value, to put it nicely. It’s an older facility and yhe quality of this location has gone down. I rented here 13 years ago when it was Empire Storage and it was managed much better and actually kept clean.

In three years, StorageMart doubled my rent from $80/month to over $160/month. Nothing changed at the unit. No upgrades. No improvements. Just pure price hiking year after year. That's a 100% increase with zero justification. Then when I went to close out my account, they hit me with a surprise $75 "cleaning fee" to remove a few empty totes, an empty box and a sewing machine. Seventy-five dollars to do 4 minutes worth of work, that should've been covered under standard move-out procedures. It's nickel-and-diming at its worst... read more
