The worst storage unit company ever ! The sign on the door says theyre open, but the door is locked and nobody is at the front desk to help. **************** theyve contacted the Regional Manager and the District Manager and nobody has been answering for 30+ minutes. Somebody should definitely be in the lobby at all times DURING BUSINESS HOURS !

THE WORST EVER! Friday 5/19/2023 I reserved a unit at Hallandale Beach Self Storage (a Storage Rentals of America facility) on-line, followed immediately by a phone call from SROA who provided info about their rental agreement, so I completed the rental process, paid first rental with a credit card & was told to go the facility office the next day so they can unlock the unit I rented & give me my new lock for it, but advised to call the office before going there (found out that was because there is no one working there every... read more

I had my unit broken into twice. All of my items were stolen and they refused to reimburse me for what was stolen. Its the worse storage company so beware if you plan on putting things in storage. My unit is in Georgia BTW, not in *******.

Every few months, they raise my rent 20 bucks. Only storage place remotely near me. Greedy fat pigs sitting in their corporate offices, don't do any improvements to the property, just to the guilded lining of their **************. SROA is the absolute worst storage company I've ever had the misfortune of utilizing. I absolutely hate that I have to still use your abysmal enterprise that has bought out all its competition. SROA, you ****. Sell out.

There is a lot to say about corporate greed today. I have had a 10x20 storage unit for a number of years because my apartment is too small and some things are not appropriate for an apartment, such as tools and lawn mower. The storage started out at $75 a month back on the year 2015 and then when I moved it 2 years ago the location of East Moline the price went up to $85 a month. I have patiently waited for 3 months for a refund from my Oct 3rd reservation. I called again and this time I spoke with someone at the center and they were extremely rude. I recently submitted a claim with my credit union to dispute this transaction as I have waited and with no avail, I have received no response. Other than the time frame to allow refunds (6-8 weeks). They bought out All Valley Storage locally. Nobody ( Past or present new owners) told us renters of the takeover. They are running a scam about insurane on each unit and required we have proof of coverage on our units., although they sent us several pages explaining they have no liability. We had to take in proof to a location on Jackrabbit Ln. to show we had insurance during the few hours weekly that they have a manager. Moved out by the date I was informed to move out to not get charged for the next month. Informed the person working in the ****** I was moved out. Told everything was good and they would check the unit shortly to verify it was empty. Was not asked to sign anything or do anything extra. 2 days later I called he ****** to verify my account was closed and told everything was closed. 8 days later they withdrew for another months rent. My husband and I rented a 10'x30' unit at the Rt. 39 La Porte, Indiana location. It was easy to rent the unit, I will say that but after 5 days our unit as well as several others were broken into. We filed a police report only then to find out that the cameras on the front of only two buildings did not work and that they had several other complaints at this location.
