CPEP unit never helped me or admitted me at my worst!!!
Stony Brook was known for being one of the best hospitals in Long Island, now it is without a doubt the worst health care provider especially in mental health, after giving them a bad review for the horrible service received from that area and all the complaints we did it about a supposed doctor today 8/12/24 we received a letter of termination of medical service, where they say "they know the importance of a good relationship between patient - provider" but they don’t said very sorry for not having lived up to what was expe... read more

I've been waiting several months for a testing appointment. I understand they may be busy, but I get no response. Not a serious place.
I had the pleasure of receiving a psychiatric intake from Dr. Farquharson. He provided a safe, non-judgmental space. His guidance and support have been instrumental in helping us regain stability in our new walks of life. I highly recommend Dr. Farquharson to anyone seeking exceptional child psychiatric care.
