I was placed on a 72 hour hold back in January. The medical care, was non-existent, except for a blood draw, and urine sample. Results were never discussed with me. I found abnormalities in the results, after discharge. Other than having to recount the trauma of my Mom's passing 3 times, to 3 different Dr's, some of whom were medical students, no therapy sessions were provided. Unprofessional workers 0 stars should be an option. They try to give you Medications that you are allergic to even if you tell them you're allergic to them.

Stony Brook was known for being one of the best hospitals in Long Island, now it is without a doubt the worst health care provider especially in mental health, after giving them a bad review for the horrible service received from that area and all the complaints we did it about a supposed doctor today 8/12/24 we received a letter of termination of medical service, where they say "they know the importance of a good relationship between patient - provider" but they don’t said very sorry for not having lived up to what was expe... read more

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! if I could give her zero stars I would, my daughter has been in treatment for depression and ADHD for a little over 1 year, everything was going well with the first two doctors she had, they always listened to her and paid attention to her needs and desires, until they changed again and that was when we realized that they really ARE NOT DOCTORS THEY ARE JUST STUDENTS, in what head fits it to put students to treat patients, the first 2 were excellent obviously as in every career there are o... read more
