Lovely Community with a "Secret Garden" Feel I have been living at Stone Ridge for about 6 months now and I must say that I have had a most pleasant experience here. It's very centrally located to shopping and dining and close to a few large parks and trails. It's a very small complex and quiet for the most part, very well kept and all of the staff has been very helpful and friendly. I am glad that I chose to make Stone Ridge my home!

Parking As with all complexes, there are pros and cons. The biggest problem I have with this apartment is the lack of uncovered/garage parking. You can either pay extra for a covered spot or garage ($80-100), or take your chances and hope there's an open spot near your apartment. And if you have visitors, forget it. I've had to have guests park outside the gate in handicapped spots or out on the street. I pay for a gated community for a reason and this is annoys me. Also maintenance can be slow. Almost perfect Pros: Nice office ladies, clean gym, no bug problems, quick and friendly maintenance workers, decent parking lot, clean grounds, good neighborhood. The only con is the noise, but it's really only noisy on the weekends.

"It doesn't get any better than this..." I recently move into the apartments at Stone Ridge of North Dallas after living in a house in North Dallas with my father (I was his caregiver). He was diagnosed 5 years ago with Alzheimer's and past away in July last year of heart failure and pneumonia. I had to sell the house and move. I didn't think I would be able to call another place home but I am happy with my decision to move into Stone Ridge. It's a beautiful quiet community and the staff is very friend and courteous.
