Been to the park several times a year and local. Enjoyed camping at the park. Celebrated our son and cousin birthday at the park never had any problem whatsoever. However campground customer service rep person is the rudest, condescending and disrespectful. She has smart mouth ever! Inappropriate comment call customer CHEAP is not customer service. Yall park is so run down, no wonder why, starting from how yall employee treat customers. If Im able to give no star at all I would. VERY DISAPPOINTED !
The park and “mountain” always has been and probably always will be fantastic and deserves 5 stars. BUT the fond memories we had of coming to many laser shows years ago were replaced by an irritating commercialized “pop” experience. Starting with the DJ’s brain wrecking squeals and ignorance to her audiences lack of interest/participation - continuing on with the many laser commercials - and the “party lights” that dimmed the actual laser projections onto the stone. Laser show lights on the sides in the trees are distracting and make it hard to see the lasers well.
We just left the campground from camping all week. We had the best family time. We will be back!
We had the best experience at Stone Mountain on July 4th. The park was crazy busy but that did not affect the attitudes of the workers we encountered. Everyone was incredibly nice and I was especially surprised at the efficiency of the workers not only in the Marketplace but also in the rope course area. While my son was attempting the rock wall he was struggling a bit. I have always loved Stone Mountain but this last time there was pre laser show with a commentator instead of music. The preshow was extremely annoying and awkward. I did not like it at all. Please get rid of it or do something different.
